'Seol-i-nikka' Yongin Local Currency Recharge Incentive Increased from 6% to 10%
Charging limit increased from 250,000 to 300,000 won for the month of February
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is increasing the recharge limit and incentives for local currency ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
On the 30th, Yongin City announced that it will raise the recharge incentive for its local currency, 'Yongin Y-Pay,' from 6% to 10% for the month of February to alleviate citizens' burdens caused by rising prices and to revitalize the local economy. The city also added that the recharge limit eligible for incentives will be increased from 250,000 won to 300,000 won during this period.
Accordingly, if you recharge 300,000 won on Y-Pay, you will receive a 30,000 won incentive, allowing you to use a total of 330,000 won. Although the incentive applies up to the 300,000 won recharge limit, it is also acceptable to recharge and use amounts exceeding this limit.
