Uiseong-gun Promotes Retiree All-in-One Village 'Reborn Village'... 20 Detached Houses for Rent and Sale
Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, is currently collecting residents' opinions until February 20 on the 'Uiseong Living Environment Improvement Project (Re:born Village Development Project) Basic Plan (Draft), Village Maintenance Zone Designation, and Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment Report (Draft)'.
The Re:born Village Development Project is a local extinction response fund project aimed at attracting population inflow by targeting retirees from large cities and returnees to farming and rural areas, and has been underway since 2023.
The project site is located in Jeori, Geumseong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, covering an area of 5,000 pyeong. The plan is to build 20 detached houses, rent them out for a certain period, and then sell them. Existing trees and green spaces will be preserved as much as possible to create a distinctive rural village harmonizing with Geumseongsan Mountain.
After collecting residents' opinions, a strategic environmental impact assessment and village maintenance plan will be established, followed by the implementation plan by the end of the year, with site development construction scheduled to be completed by 2025.
