The target recyclables are paper packs and used batteries, which can be brought to nearby eup, myeon, or dong administrative welfare centers and exchanged for toilet paper and batteries.
Paper packs can be exchanged as follows: 50 pieces of 200㎖, 25 pieces of 500㎖, or 15 pieces of 1000㎖ for one roll of toilet paper. Used batteries can be exchanged at a rate of 15 batteries for one new battery. Paper packs (milk, juice, soy milk, etc.) must have their contents emptied, rinsed with water, unfolded, dried, and then brought in.
A city official said, "Recycling greatly helps protect the environment and promote resource circulation," adding, "We will actively promote projects that increase citizens' interest and participation."

Meanwhile, paper packs, which use high-quality pulp and are recycled into toilet paper, tend to have a low recycling rate because they are often disposed of together with waste paper. Used batteries recover valuable metal resources such as iron, zinc, and nickel for recycling and can also prevent environmental pollution caused by heavy metals.
