Business Agreement for 'Science Culture Activation' with Resident Organizations in Gwanggyo Technovalley
Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is taking a commemorative photo after signing an agreement to promote science culture with resident organizations in Gwanggyo Technovalley on the 24th.
View original imageOn the 24th, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Nano Technology Institute, the Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute, and the Suwon Office of Education to promote the activation of science culture at Gwanggyo TV (Technovalley).
According to the agreement, each institution will cooperate to provide scientific and technological content and lectures to youth in the province, as well as support necessary equipment and facilities to enhance young people's interest and experience in science and technology.
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, in collaboration with the Suwon Office of Education, will offer various educational programs to youth in the province, including ▲Maker programs ▲Science exploration classes ▲Quantum technology exploration programs ▲Bio exploration programs.
The Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute will conduct idea discovery, technology exploration, and Internet of Things (IoT) technology education for middle school students in the province through the 'Maker program.'
It will also provide education on technology trends, 3D printing, coding, and drone experiences. The 'Science exploration class' is linked to middle school science curriculum and aims to understand basic science through laboratory experiments using various analytical instruments and advanced analytical equipment.
The Korea Nano Technology Institute will conduct the 'Quantum Technology Exploration Program,' which includes understanding quantum technology, trends in quantum industry policies, special lectures by experts, and tours of quantum fabs.

Kang Seong-cheon, head of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, explained, "By providing diverse and interesting science and technology experiences to local youth, this will contribute to nurturing future talents and serve as an important opportunity to enhance cooperation among institutions and promote human and material exchanges."
