Holding a Forum with the City Council and Civic Groups
Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, the city council, and civic groups are joining forces to discuss ways to utilize smart devices in schools.
According to the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education on the 23rd, a forum on the utilization of smart devices will be held on the 24th in the meeting room of the Gwangju City Council's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.
The forum is jointly hosted by the Metropolitan Office of Education, the city council, and the Gwangju Education Civic Coalition to publicize ways to utilize smart devices linked to future education.
Kim Ah-jin, Superintendent of the Metropolitan Office of Education, will give the first presentation on the theme of ‘AI Gwangju Future Education,’ followed by Kim Byung-il, Director of the Gwangju Education Research Institute, who will present on the ‘Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education’s School Smart Device Distribution Project.’
City Councilor Lee Gwi-soon will chair the forum, and parents, teachers, and officials from the Metropolitan Office of Education will participate in the discussion to share opinions on ▲the direction of Gwangju’s future education ▲ways to utilize smart devices ▲and cases of utilization in school settings.
