Iljin Group 56th Anniversary Commemorative Address
Heo Jin-gyu, chairman of Iljin Group, emphasized that survival requires accelerating the pace of reform rather than making ad hoc responses.
On the 22nd, marking the 56th anniversary of Iljin Group's founding, Chairman Heo stated, "I am convinced that the only way to survive is to quickly adopt new technologies and pioneer new markets through boundary-breaking convergence."
Chairman Heo mentioned that the Korean economy is in a crisis and said that in times like these, he reflects on the original intention when starting the business in Noryangjin, Seoul, in 1968. He added, "Over the past 56 years, Iljin Group has devoted itself with proactiveness and innovation to develop the parts and materials industry in a barren land," emphasizing, "Employees must set concrete goals and put them into action."
He also urged employees to simplify and streamline tasks, share ideas, and improve productivity.
