'Hwaseong Open Cultural Arts Space' Rental Application Now Open
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting regular rental applications for the 'Hwaseong Open Culture and Arts Space' located in Songdong until the 31st of this month.
The 'Hwaseong Open Culture and Arts Space' is an exhibition space established by the city in May last year to address the shortage of exhibition spaces for local artists' works and to promote cultural and artistic enjoyment among citizens. It is equipped with two exhibition rooms and an education room.

Through this regular rental, the city provides artists with exhibition space free of charge. Those who wish to rent can apply through the Hwaseong City Integrated Reservation System. The city will select the renters after internal screening and review by the rental review committee. The selection results will be announced on the Hwaseong City Cultural Foundation website on the 8th of next month.
Days remaining after the regular rental will be operated as general rentals, which individuals and groups needing meeting and community activity spaces can rent free of charge. General rentals can be applied for through the Hwaseong City Integrated Reservation System starting from March.
Meanwhile, since its opening, the Hwaseong Open Culture and Arts Space has held two planned exhibitions and cultural programs, attracting a total of over 6,000 visitors. This year, the city plans to offer exhibition interpretation for visitors of various age groups by newly planning a children's exhibition interpreter training program.
