Gyeonggi-do Opens Online Memorial Hall on April 22 for the 10th Anniversary of the Sewol Ferry Disaster
Gyeonggi Province will open and operate an online memorial hall starting from the 22nd to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sewol ferry disaster.

The online memorial hall, "4·16 Sewol Ferry Disaster Memory and Solidarity (Online Memory Space)," can be accessed by visiting the Gyeonggi Provincial Government website and clicking on the "Memory and Solidarity" portal. Visitors can freely write memorial messages.
Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, stated in his memorial address on the 9th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster last year, "Since the 4·16 disaster, no citizen of the Republic of Korea has been free from the scars of the Sewol Ferry," and promised, "Gyeonggi Province will stand with the bereaved families, survivors, and countless citizens who remember the Sewol Ferry. We will not forget the tragedy and pain of that day."
Since March last year, Gyeonggi Province has been operating the online memorial hall "Memory and Solidarity (https://www.gg.go.kr/memorial)" to fully remember the 10·29 disaster and to express ongoing solidarity with victims and bereaved families.
