Gyeongnam Nonghyup Conducts On-site Food Safety Inspections Ahead of Seollal Holiday
Until February 2, Targeting Hanaro Mart and Livestock Product Sites in the Province
Gyeongnam Nonghyup conducted a supply status and food safety inspection of major items in preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday on the 18th at Gaya Nonghyup Hanaro Mart located in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, with Shin Haegeun, head of the Haman-gun branch, and Lee Bomyeong, chairman of Gaya Nonghyup, in attendance.
They checked the supply status of major seasonal products such as fruits, vegetables, and livestock products, which see increased demand during the Lunar New Year, and guided food safety and origin management at all Hanaro Marts across the province, including livestock product sales outlets and processing plants. A special inspection will be conducted for three weeks until February 2.

View original imageThe main inspection items include ▲whether origin labeling is displayed ▲compliance with food labeling standards ▲expiration dates and unauthorized alterations ▲proper temperature storage of products, among others.
Minor violations found during the inspection will be addressed on-site, and a ‘Special Situation Room’ for food safety management will be operated within the Gyeongnam headquarters to specially manage major violations according to relevant regulations.
