Hwaseong-si, Gender Equality Fund Support Project Call for Proposals
Support of 10 Million KRW per Business
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi-do is accepting applications for the '2024 Gender Equality Fund Support Project' to promote the spread of a culture of gender equality and expand women's social activities until the 5th of next month.
The application fields include ▲Establishing a foundation for promoting gender equality ▲Enhancing community safety ▲Creating women-friendly cities ▲Promoting women's rights ▲Spreading gender equality ▲Strengthening women's capabilities and promoting social participation ▲Developing family policies. Selected projects will receive a total fund of 50 million KRW, with up to 10 million KRW per project.
Non-profit corporations and non-profit private organizations headquartered in Hwaseong City with the primary purpose of realizing gender equality are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted online through the local subsidy system (Botaem e).
The city plans to select the supported institutions by the end of February after deliberation by the Gender Equality Committee. For more details, please check the announcement on the city’s website or contact the Women and Multicultural Affairs Division.

Hwang Dang-yeon, head of Hwaseong City’s Women and Multicultural Affairs Division, said, "We hope this public offering project will serve as an opportunity to advance gender equality and women's rights," adding, "We will continue to develop various policies for gender equality."
