Jin Gyo-hoon, the mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, is focusing on enhancing elderly welfare by expanding job opportunities to ensure a stable retirement life for senior citizens.
On the 17th, Mayor Jin visited the Seoul Gangseo-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association (Branch President Je Eun-young) to listen to the concerns of the elderly.
He then stated, "To expand opportunities for seniors to participate in social activities, we have significantly increased the number of jobs for the elderly by more than 1,000 compared to last year," adding, "We will continue to expand the senior job projects going forward."
