A group that deliberately caused traffic accidents in Seoul while driving foreign cars and collected over 300 million won in insurance money was caught by the police.
On the 17th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that 26 people were booked on charges of violating the Special Act on the Prevention of Insurance Fraud, and among them, two main suspects were arrested.
According to the police, they are suspected of deliberately causing traffic accidents 29 times from 2017 to 2022 and receiving insurance payments worth approximately 337 million won from insurance companies.
