A middle school student fell to their death at an apartment in Gwangju Metropolitan City, prompting a police investigation.
According to the Gwangju Western Police Station on the 15th, around 12:20 p.m. that day, a 14-year-old middle school student, A, fell from the 10th floor of an apartment in Yuchon-dong, Seo-gu.
A, who suffered a severe head injury, was unconscious and transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics but died.
The police reportedly obtained statements that A had an argument with a friend just before the accident.
Authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident based on CCTV footage and other evidence.
