Kumho Tire Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement with Korea Transportation Safety Authority
Kumho Tire and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority announced on the 15th that they have signed a strategic partnership to improve defective tires early and prevent traffic accidents.
The Korea Transportation Safety Authority conducts inspections on approximately 2.7 million vehicles annually, and among the standard service items, "tires" are a very important category, with unfit judgments made based on tire conditions.
Kumho Tire plans to provide tire inspection services and product discount coupons to customers who receive unfit judgments due to tires or require inspections among vehicles visiting inspection centers.
Kumho Tire will sell passenger car/SUV tire products at a discount of more than 20%. Customers purchasing four or more tires can buy Core Plus car wash tickets at a discounted price, and those purchasing two or four or more tires will receive mobile fuel vouchers worth 20,000 or 40,000 KRW, respectively.
This promotion will be conducted at 59 inspection centers nationwide affiliated with the Authority.
