HIRA Calls for Papers for 'HIRA Research,' the First Academic Journal in Health Insurance Field
The Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA) announced on the 15th that it is calling for papers to be published in 'HIRA Research' (Vol. 4, No. 1), the first specialized academic journal in the field of health insurance.
Researchers wishing to submit their papers must register their manuscripts through the online submission and review system on the HIRA Research journal website by March 29. This issue is scheduled to be published in May.
HIRA Research was selected as a candidate for registration in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) during the new academic journal evaluation by the National Research Foundation of Korea last December, becoming the first specialized academic journal in the health insurance field.
This selection recognized the basic framework and qualitative level of the new academic journal, and papers published in HIRA Research from 2023 onward will be registered as candidate journals.
HIRA will provide a fixed manuscript fee only for papers confirmed for publication after review to enhance research competitiveness in the healthcare field and to promote academic information exchange. To alleviate the financial burden of research activities on researchers and to provide opportunities for free academic participation, no fees will be charged for submission, review, or publication.
