Gwangju Shinsegae Opens Bottega Veneta Women's Ready-to-Wear Store
Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Donghoon Lee) announced on the 14th that it has newly opened a BOTTEGA VENETA women's ready-to-wear store, an Italian luxury fashion brand.
The Gwangju Shinsegae BOTTEGA VENETA store, the first ready-to-wear store introduced in the Honam region, is located opposite the existing store that only showcased leather goods, allowing customers to experience total category items including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, and jewelry all at once.
Inspired by Italian culture and art, and completed under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, this store is finished with brass, wood, and white concrete materials frequently used by Carlo Scarpa, the Italian architectural master from Venice, as well as Italian teak wood, known as the finest wood species, allowing visitors to feel the house’s heritage.
The custom-made furniture and fixtures within the store are also crafted by artisans using premium materials, revealing the close relationship between the house and craftsmanship, while the space is divided by sofas made from the house’s leather, creating a comfortable and calm atmosphere.
In particular, the wood and green-toned interior space of the store offers a special shopping experience, as if customers are taking clothes directly from their own wardrobe and putting them on.
