Daegu Deputy Superintendent Kim Tae-hoon Inaugurated... "Outstanding Rational Leadership and Drive"
Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) announced that Kim Tae-hoon, former Director of the Education Welfare and Care Support Bureau at the Ministry of Education, will assume office as the Deputy Superintendent of Daegu on the 15th.
New Deputy Superintendent Kim Tae-hoon graduated from Gangneung High School and Seoul National University with a major in National Ethics Education. He entered public service in 1994 through the 37th Administrative Examination and has served as Director of the Local Education Autonomy Division at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and as Education Secretary and Administrative Officer at the Presidential Secretariat.
After being promoted to a senior executive in the general service in 2015, Deputy Superintendent Kim served as Director of the Secretariat at Jeonbuk National University, Policy Planning Officer at the Ministry of Education, Vocational Education Policy Officer at the Ministry of Education, Senior Administrative Officer and Education Secretary at the Presidential Secretariat, Director of the Secretariat at Gyeongsang National University, and Director of the Education Welfare and Care Support Bureau at the Ministry of Education. In 2019, he was awarded the Order of Service Merit, Red Stripes.
Deputy Superintendent Kim Tae-hoon has experience in various organizations including local education, vocational education, and education welfare and care support departments within the Ministry of Education, as well as the Presidential Secretariat. He is known for his excellent 추진력 (drive) with rational leadership and is highly trusted by staff.
