3 Injured in Porsche Vehicle Ramming Incident at Eunpyeong-gu Traditional Market
A Porsche SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) crashed into a traditional market in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, injuring three people including the driver and merchants.
According to the Seoul Eunpyeong Police Station and fire department on the 12th, at around 11:30 a.m., the vehicle rushed into Daecho Market in Eunpyeong-gu, injuring driver Mr. A, a female merchant in her 70s, and a male pedestrian in his 40s, all of whom were taken to the hospital.
The merchant suffered a fractured bone in the chest area. Mr. A and the pedestrian sustained minor injuries and are not in life-threatening condition. It is reported that Mr. A claimed the vehicle experienced sudden unintended acceleration.

According to the police investigation, Mr. A was not under the influence of alcohol, and no preliminary drug test will be conducted. A police official stated, "This is still the investigation stage before formal charges," adding, "We are reviewing charges such as failure to report under the Special Act on Traffic Accidents and violation of pedestrian protection duties."
