BPA Conducts 'Busan Port New Port Site Safety Inspection' for the New Year
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) conducted an on-site safety inspection around Busan New Port on the 12th to encourage the hard work of port workers and prevent safety accidents in the new year.

View original imageHong Seong-jun, Head of the Operations Headquarters, and the Head of the New Port Branch visited the construction site of the Busan New Port Fireboat Squadron building, which is planned to be built within the New Port small ship pier, the site for the Smart Joint Logistics Center in the Seo'con' Hinterland Complex, and the construction site of a company scheduled to move into the Ungdong Hinterland Complex in the first half of the year, inspecting safety management status together with related personnel.
They identified risk factors such as freezing, frost damage, and floor icing of port facilities, and at the construction sites, they thoroughly checked key safety management points including compliance with safety rules during concrete pouring and the placement of signalmen.
