Yoon Attends New Year's Gathering with Cultural Artists: "Enriching Life"
Yoon "Cultural Artists Have Worked Hard for the People"
President Yoon Suk-yeol visited the '2024 New Year's Gathering of Cultural Artists' on the 9th and expressed his gratitude to cultural artists, saying, "Culture and the arts enrich the lives of many people and open the door to a happy future."
President Yoon attended the New Year's Gathering of Cultural Artists held at the Seoul Arts Center in the afternoon and said, "You have worked hard for our people," according to the presidential office.
The New Year's Gathering of Cultural Artists is the largest annual New Year's event in the cultural and artistic community, where cultural artists, content creators, sponsoring companies, and key figures from arts organizations gather to exchange New Year's greetings.
President Yoon's attendance at the New Year's Gathering of Cultural Artists marks the second consecutive year. The presidential office explained that the event was organized to express gratitude and encouragement to our cultural artists who have moved and comforted our people and promoted Korea to the world.
At last year's New Year's Gathering, President Yoon said, "If we only had a large industry but the level of culture and arts was low, we would have been greatly underestimated. I have felt a strong atmosphere of respect and recognition for Korea's depth," adding, "I will do my best to support you as much as possible."
