Boseong-gun Conducts Public Contest Project for Cultural and Arts Organizations
Visual Arts, Performance, Literature, and Religious Culture, etc.
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will hold a “Local Culture and Arts Development and Revitalization Support Project Contest” for local cultural and artistic organizations until the 22nd.
This contest is divided into four categories: local culture and arts preservation and promotion programs (visual arts, performance, literature), religious cultural events, and can be applied for through the “Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem-e)” implemented since July last year.
The support funds will be provided after reviewing the organization’s project performance and project plans, with a total budget of 156.5 million KRW for the four projects. Last year, a total of 27 subsidy recipients were finally selected.
Eligibility for application requires cultural and artistic organizations that have had event performance records in Boseong-gun for more than one year as of the announcement date. The selection of subsidy recipients will be finalized in early February through the review by the project selection committee and the local subsidy review committee.
As with last year’s subsidy projects, 10% of the decided subsidy amount must be borne by the applicant as a mandatory self-contribution after applying for the project, and activity photos along with settlement documents must be submitted within two months after project completion.
Inquiries related to the contest can be checked through the county office website’s notice announcement and the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem-e).
