At this exhibition, Samsung Electronics plans to highlight its differentiated strengths in sustainability and the SmartThings ecosystem, while showcasing a large number of new products and technologies enhanced with AI capabilities as a global tech leader.
Samsung’s Efforts for Sustainability on Full Display at CES
At the entrance of the exhibition hall, a giant media facade using 'The Wall,' which integrates Samsung Electronics' display technology, will welcome visitors. Samsung will present the prosperous future life that consumers can enjoy through AI, SmartThings, and innovative technologies with the best picture quality and diverse content.
Upon entering the exhibition booth, visitors will be greeted by the Sustainability Zone, which showcases Samsung Electronics' efforts to achieve the new environmental management strategy goals announced in 2022. The company embraces the value of 'Towards a Better Future,' symbolizing its commitment to sustainability through collaboration with customers and various partners, and is introducing sustainable product strategies while strengthening related partnerships.
When setting up the exhibition space, Samsung Electronics applied recycled plastic materials to the walls to save resources and reused recycled walls previously used at last year's IFA exhibition in Germany. Additionally, an experiential space was created to demonstrate how products such as the Galaxy Book4, Neo QLED 8K, and Bespoke Grande AI washing machine reduce environmental impact through production, transportation, usage, and recycling stages.

The company plans to introduce new features in the first half of the year that enable users to set robot vacuum cleaners to charge during off-peak electricity hours or times with low carbon intensity, and to automatically operate the 'Bespoke AI Combo' and 'Bespoke Dishwasher.'
As Samsung expands collaboration on the future-oriented eco-friendly housing model 'Net Zero Home,' it will showcase scenarios at this exhibition that link Tesla's energy storage devices, solar inverters, and electric vehicles with Samsung Electronics' SmartThings Energy to provide users with new battery usage experiences. For example, when a natural disaster is expected, a 'Storm Watch' alert from the Tesla app is sent to Samsung TVs, and during power outages, SmartThings Energy's 'AI Saving Mode' automatically reduces appliance power consumption to extend battery usage time.
Samsung Electronics is also focused on improving accessibility so that everyone can conveniently use technology without restrictions. At this exhibition, it will introduce new accessibility features beyond individual products, showcasing Samsung's differentiated technology that leverages connectivity between products, including TV functions that read subtitles within content and accessibility packages for washing machines and ovens.
