Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education Operates 320 'Edutech Leading Teachers'
Strengthening Teacher Edutech Competencies... "Leading Innovation in Future-Oriented Classes"
The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Seogeo-seok Seo) announced on the 5th that it will operate the 'Jeonbuk Edutech Leading Teachers Group' to support future-oriented class innovation.
According to the Office of Education's Future Education Research Institute on the same day, the launch ceremony of the Jeonbuk Edutech Leading Teachers Group was held at the Creative Narae Audiovisual Room of the Office of Education, and appointment letters were awarded. The group consists of a total of 320 members and will participate as instructors in Edutech teacher training sessions conducted for teachers this year.

The Edutech Leading Teachers Group operates with the goals of ▲ strengthening teachers' Edutech capabilities based on digital and AI future education ▲ supporting future-oriented classroom instruction and AI·SW class innovation ▲ distributing smart devices and smart boards, and supporting their establishment and operation in school settings.
The Future Education Research Institute plans to conduct Edutech capability enhancement training this year for 14,000 elementary, middle, and high school teachers in the province, as well as principals, vice principals, and education professionals.
The intensive Edutech teacher training courses will be operated at the Future Education Research Institute, 14 educational support offices, and hub schools in Jeonju, Iksan, and Gunsan. For teachers with high or low experience levels who are not familiar with Edutech, weekday evening and weekend ongoing courses will also be provided.
The curriculum includes three courses for elementary teachers: Whalebook-based Whalespace course, MS course, and Google course. For secondary teachers, there are two courses: laptop-based MS course and Google course. Teachers will be provided with hands-on training opportunities to fully experience Edutech technologies and apply and design them in classes, aiming to innovate classroom instruction in school settings.

Superintendent Seogeo-seok Seo stated, "With the distribution of smart devices and smart boards, Edutech-based classes have become possible in schools," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing customized support to foster students' self-directed learning abilities and strengthen future competencies through Edutech-based instruction."
