Pyeongtaek Agricultural Technology Center, Rural Resources Pilot Project Application Open
Four Projects Including Pesticide Safety Management Until the 31st
School Programs Such as Ecological Learning Gardens Also Promoted
The Agricultural Technology Center of Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, is promoting pilot projects in the rural resource sector aimed at creating a safe agricultural environment and revitalizing urban agriculture for agriculture, organizations, apartments, and schools.
This year's pilot projects include ▲Pesticide Safety Management (2 locations) ▲Support Project for Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders in Farmers (1 location) ▲Creation of Urban Residents' Apartment and Community Gardens (10 locations) ▲Distribution of Companion Plant Experience Programs Using Compressed Cultivation Soil (1 location), among others.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Rural Resources Division of the Agricultural Technology Center or the farmers' consultation offices in each eup/myeon by the 31st of this month.
The city is also accepting applications until the 10th for programs targeting local schools, including ▲School Ecological Learning Gardens (5 locations) and ▲Healing Agriculture for Special Classes (10 locations).

Detailed information on each project can be found on the Pyeongtaek-si Agricultural Technology Center website. The city plans to select project participants through the Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Council review in February.
