SRT Ticket Reservations for Seollal Holiday Start from the 15th
Suseo-origin High-Speed Train (SRT) operator SR announced on the 4th that it will conduct ticket reservations for the Lunar New Year holiday from the 15th to the 18th.
During this period, tickets for all SRT trains operating from February 8 to 12 can be reserved.
For the first two days of reservations starting on the 15th, priority booking will be available online (dedicated website and SRT app) and by phone for transportation-vulnerable customers such as seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans with disabilities. From the 17th to the 18th, ticket reservations will be open to the general public.
SR explained that it extended the priority reservation period to two days this time to improve convenience for transportation-vulnerable customers. Unlike before when all routes were available for booking in one day, the routes are divided: on the 15th, reservations can be made for the Gyeongbu, Gyeongjeon, and Donghae lines, and on the 16th, for the Honam and Jeolla lines. Customers only need to reserve on one of the two days according to the route reservation schedule.
Online priority reservations are only available to seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans with disabilities who have registered in advance. The pre-registration period is from noon on the 5th to 6 p.m. on the 11th. Those who have difficulty using online services or who did not register in advance can make reservations by phone.
Ticket reservations for the general public will proceed in the order of the Gyeongbu, Gyeongjeon, and Donghae lines on the 17th, and the Honam and Jeolla lines on the 18th.
Lunar New Year holiday ticket reservations are made through the dedicated website, which can be accessed in advance from 2 p.m. on the 12th. Reserved tickets must be paid for by midnight on the 21st. Only customers who reserved by phone can pay until midnight on the 24th. Tickets not paid for will be automatically canceled.
Remaining seats not sold during the reservation period will be available for purchase from 3 p.m. on the 18th through the website, SRT app, station counters, kiosks, and other online and offline channels, just like regular tickets.
