Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Lee Han-cheol) announced that it held the "2024 New Year's Greeting Meeting" at 11 a.m. on the 3rd at the Convention Hall of Hotel Hyundai Lahan Mokpo to share resolutions and well-wishes for the development of the southwestern region of Jeollanam-do.

Under the catchphrase "Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take the lead in bringing vitality to businesses and a future to the region," the New Year's Greeting Meeting was attended by about 300 people, including Lee Han-cheol, Chairman of Mokpo Chamber of Commerce; Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeollanam-do; Park Hong-ryul, Mayor of Mokpo; Woo Seung-hee, County Governor of Yeongam; Park Woo-ryang, County Governor of Sinan; provincial and city council members; journalists; businesspeople; and heads of institutions and social organizations. The event proceeded with New Year's greetings from key officials and a ceremonial cutting of sirutteok (steamed rice cake).
