40s Man Urgently Arrested for Posting Threatening Message to Kill Han Dong-hoon
A netizen who posted a threat online to kill Han Dong-hoon, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, was arrested by the police.
On the 3rd, the Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju announced that they had urgently detained a man identified as A (in his 40s) on charges of making threats.
Mr. A is suspected of posting a message on an internet site at around 9:40 p.m. the previous day, threatening to kill Chairman Han.
After identifying the author of the post, the police apprehended Mr. A at his residence in Usan-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at around 5:20 a.m. that day.
