Jeong Sumi Appointed as the 15th Head of LH Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters
On the 2nd, Jeong Su-mi was inaugurated as the 15th Head of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), becoming the first female executive to hold this position.
According to LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters on the day, Jeong Su-mi, a native of Gwangju Metropolitan City, joined Korea Land Development Corporation (now Korea Land and Housing Corporation) in 1991 and has held key positions including the Headquarters Housing Design Department, Happy Housing Department, Public Housing Business Department, and Urban Landscape Team.
Jung Sumi, head of the LH Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, took office on the 2nd.
View original imageAt the inauguration ceremony, resumed after three years due to COVID-19, Jeong Su-mi, Head of LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, said, “Having worked as the Construction Business Director in my hometown for two years and now serving again as the Regional Headquarters Head, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility and mission,” adding, “In the serious situation of implementing the ‘LH Innovation Plan,’ we must continuously strive to improve the corporation’s financial structure and restore public trust.”

Jeong Su-mi is reputed to have abundant field experience and outstanding leadership, and based on this, she is expected to contribute to balanced regional development and support for vulnerable housing groups.
