In this award ceremony, where recipients are chosen through strict standards and fair evaluation by the National Assembly of Korea and journalists, Governor Yoon Kyung-hee was recognized for her contributions to regional development by implementing various policies that provide practical benefits to residents. These include the nation’s first free city bus service within the jurisdiction, operation of the 8282 mobile civil complaint handling team for life-oriented administrative services, creation of future-oriented orchards and innovation in apple cultivation systems, distribution of stem-cut-free Cheongsong apples, and expansion of apple exports.

Receiving the award from the organizers on the 28th, Governor Yoon said, “I am very pleased that the results of discovering and actively implementing policies that help residents by personally visiting various local livelihood sites have been recognized,” adding, “I will continue to listen to the voices of the residents and lead sustainable regional development.”
