Gyeongsang National University is operating an overseas English training program for undergraduate students during the winter vacation.
The Office of External Cooperation at Gyeongsang National University selected 51 undergraduate students to provide an opportunity to enhance their English skills and global competencies through intensive English training at an English-speaking partner university. Since the 26th, the students have been participating in overseas English training at De La Salle Araneta University in the Philippines for periods of 4 and 8 weeks.

View original imageThe trainees take a level test optimized for learning at De La Salle Araneta University and receive practical English and English conversation education through various methods based on native speaker classes according to their levels. The training includes one-on-one native speaker conversation classes, 1:5 small group classes, and 1:10 large group classes during the 4- and 8-week training periods.
In addition, local cultural experiences such as a 2-night, 3-day marine activity and visits to major tourist attractions in the Philippines are also included.
Gyeongsang National University fully subsidized the training costs for general applicants and students from merged departments participating in this English training, and provided full training cost coverage and partial airfare support for students facing financial difficulties.
