Gyeongnam National University Holds the 11th Education Innovation Forum Online
Under the Main Theme of 'University Prospects and Educational Innovation Challenges',
Sharing Strategies Reflecting Kyungnam University's Commitment to Educational Innovation
Gyeongnam National University held the 11th Gyeongnam National University Education Innovation Forum online at the Changjo Hall Peace Hall on the 27th.

View original imageBroadcast live on YouTube, this forum was organized under the main theme of "Prospects and Educational Innovation Tasks of Universities" to envision the future university's appearance and role, and to share the key contents and strategies of the revised curriculum reflecting educational innovation tasks for the sustainable development of universities and Gyeongnam National University's commitment to educational innovation.
The forum was conducted in a total of four sessions: Session 1 focused on "Technology-Based Educational Innovation Strategies," Session 2 on "Strategies for Promoting New National Financial Support Projects," Session 3 on "Promotion Strategies for Future University Educational Innovation," and Session 4 on "Changes and Innovations in Universities."
Before the forum, Park Jae-yoon, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the opening remarks, stating, "Gyeongnam National University has cultivated diverse innovations in curriculum, teaching methods, and educational environment based on innovative ideas. I hope that everyone participating in today's forum will empathize with the necessity of educational innovation and share excellent ideas and cases so that students can more easily understand education and grow into talents desired by society."
In the first session, Kwon Kyung-hwan, Dean of the College of Public Talent, presented on "Class and Research Strategies Using LLM Models such as ChatGPT," Kim Jong-hyun, professor of the LINC3.0 Project Group, spoke on "Strategies and Cases for Utilizing Various Smart Apps for Active Learning," and Yoo Hyun-joo, professor of the MSC Education Department, presented on "Utilization of Edutech Software (such as Padlet) for Smart Teaching."
In the second session, Kim Kyung-hee, Dean of the College of Future Life, presented on "Creating an Adult-Friendly College Identity at the College of Future Life: Designing Successful Experiences for Adult Learners," Jeong Tae-wook, Dean of the AI·SW Convergence College (Director of the SW-Centered University Project Group), spoke on "The Great Transformation of the Digital Future Society and Education DX of SW-Centered Universities," and Lee Joon-kyung, Deputy Director of the University Innovation Support Project Group, presented on "Introduction to the Revitalization Project for Local Universities and Specialization Strategies to Strengthen University Competitiveness."
In the third session, Choi Seon-wook, Director of Academic Affairs, presented on "Innovation Plans for the 2024 Academic Year Curriculum and Academic System," Jeon Young-rok, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Convergence, spoke on "Innovation Plans for Future Competency-Based Liberal Arts Curriculum," Kim Yong-woon, Director of the Education Innovation Headquarters, presented on "Introduction and Operation Strategies of Non-Curricular Programs," and Hong Jeong-hyo, Director of the University Innovation Support Project Group, spoke on "Achievements and Strategies of the University Innovation Support Project."
