Fire at Seoul Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital... 45 Including Mothers and Newborns Evacuated
At around 6:58 a.m. on the 26th, a fire broke out at an obstetrics and gynecology hospital in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
There were no casualties from the fire, and 45 people, including mothers and newborns, evacuated. The fire department deployed 80 personnel and 23 vehicles, and completely extinguished the fire by around 7:15 a.m., about 20 minutes later.
According to the fire authorities, a nearby McDonald's store provided space for the evacuated mothers and newborns, and they were later transferred to the Seodaemun-gu public postpartum care center "Pumae (愛gadeuk)" for care.

The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire, which started in a dryer on the basement first floor of the building.
