Kim Su-young, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Consecutively Wins Best Award at the Legislative Policy Awards
Kim Su-young, Vice Chairman of the Seo-gu Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, received the Grand Prize at the 'Korea Local Autonomy Evaluation Legislative Policy Awards' hosted by the Yeouido Policy Research Institute.
The evaluation is conducted to discover excellent policies for residents' happiness and outstanding council members, aiming to present the future vision of autonomous councils. This year, a total of 74 outstanding council members were selected.
Councilor Kim was awarded for his legislative activities benefiting residents, including expanding the use of funds from parking fines for the disabled, improving the environment of senior centers, broadening the base of community sports facilities, and enhancing the quality of childcare services.
Councilor Kim recently attended the awards ceremony held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building and expressed, "As a council member representing residents, I will continue to communicate steadily with them and carry out sincere legislative activities."
