Gwangju Buk-gu Receives Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Emergency Preparedness Training
Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has demonstrated its wartime security posture and emergency preparedness capabilities.
The district announced on the 26th that it was the only autonomous district nationwide to receive the 'Prime Minister's Award' in the '2023 Emergency Preparedness Training Merit Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The evaluation was conducted to identify and honor institutions that faithfully carried out the Eulji Exercise and contributed to strengthening national emergency preparedness capabilities.
Meritorious institutions were selected through a process including the first preliminary review by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the second public verification, and the third deliberation and resolution by the judging committee.
