OB Beer Cass, "This Year Leading Home Beer Market with 42% Share"
Ob Beer Leads Manufacturer Rankings with 52.6%
OB Beer has maintained its leading position in the domestic beer home market this year.
According to market research firm Nielsen Korea on the 26th, Cass ranked first among beer brands in the domestic beer home market from January to November this year with an overwhelming market share of 42.0%. In the manufacturer rankings, OB Beer also topped the list with a 52.6% market share.
Cass, which held the number one spot in the home market last year with a 41.3% share, solidified its position as the "national beer" by increasing its market share by 0.7 percentage points despite the turbulent market environment this year, including the reopening-driven Japanese beer craze and competitors' new product launches.
Including the entertainment and dining-out markets beyond the home market, Cass's market share in the overall beer market is estimated to be about 50%. Cass has maintained the number one position in the domestic beer market for 12 consecutive years since 2012.
