The most searched TV program on Naver mobile applications this year was 'The Glory', and the top movie was 'Crime City 3'. In the gaming category, search terms related to League of Legends (LoL) ranked high.
On the 26th, Naver released the '2023 Search Keyword Summary' compiled using search data from January to November. The most searched TV show on mobile by Naver users was the Netflix drama 'The Glory'. Following were MBC's drama 'Lovers', TvN's 'Ilta Scandal', and Disney+'s 'Moving'. 'The Glory' and 'Ilta Scandal' were the most searched keywords on mobile in January and February, respectively. SBS's dating program 'Naneun SOLO' (Solo) was the only variety show to rank within the top 5 broadcasts.
In movies, 'Crime City 3', which surpassed 10 million viewers, took first place. The top 5 also included 'Oppenheimer', 'Suzume no Tojimari', 'Elemental', and 'Smuggling'. 'Suzume no Tojimari' and 'Crime City 3' were the most searched keywords on mobile in March and June, respectively. Last month's most searched movie was 'Spring in Seoul', which dealt with the December 12 incident.
In sports, 'Professional Baseball' ranked first, followed by the '19th Hangzhou Asian Games' in second place. Third to fifth places were soccer-related keywords such as 'Premier League', 'Tottenham', and '19th Hangzhou Asian Games Football'.
In gaming, LoL-related search terms were highly recorded throughout the year. The LoL match record platform 'OP.GG' ranked fourth, and the '2023 LoL World Championship' took fifth place. Second and third places were occupied by Nexon's game MapleStory's online community 'MapleStory Inven' and Nexon's online soccer game 'FIFA Online 4'.
