Jindo Police Station Officially Launches Autonomous Crime Prevention Alliance

13th and 14th Joint Commander Inauguration and Launch Ceremony Held

On the 21st, the Jindo Police Station in Jeollanam-do held the inauguration and farewell ceremony as well as the launching ceremony for the 13th and 14th commanders of the Jindo-gun Autonomous Crime Prevention Union.

According to Jindo Police on the 25th, about 100 people attended the event, including Police Chief Park Mi-young, Jindo County Governor Kim Hee-soo, Provincial Assemblyman Kim In-jung, county council members, and members of the Jindo-gun Autonomous Crime Prevention Union. The event proceeded in the order of awarding certificates of appreciation to meritorious autonomous crime prevention members, the inauguration and farewell ceremony of the union commander, presentation of appointment letters, the chairman’s address, and congratulatory speeches.

Outgoing Commander No Ki-tae said, “I thank the members who have devoted themselves day and night, and I expect the newly appointed commander to promote more advanced autonomous crime prevention activities with outstanding leadership.”

Incoming Commander Park Ki-hong stated, “I appreciate the hard work of Commander No Ki-tae who has worked diligently so far, and I will strive for the security and safety of Jindo-gun through harmony and communication.”

Governor Kim Hee-soo said, “I hope the autonomous crime prevention unit will become more passionate and spirited under the leadership of the new commander Park Ki-hong.”

Police Chief Park Mi-young said, “I thank the autonomous crime prevention members who have devoted themselves despite their busy livelihoods, and as the autonomous crime prevention unit has newly started as a legal organization, I hope it will continue to play a significant role in creating a safe Jindo in the community.”
