Police Investigate Distributors of Rumors Related to Kim Dae-gi, Presidential Chief of Staff
The police are tracking the distributor of the jirasi related to Kim Dae-gi, Chief of Staff to the President.
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 24th that they have received a report and are investigating the case of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act against those spreading false information such as the 'allegation of interference in corporate chairman appointments' by Chief Kim's side. It is also known that this jirasi contains content related to suspicions about the '2030 World Expo Busan bid.'
Chief Kim's side has reportedly recently requested a police investigation, stating that the contents of this jirasi are "clear falsehoods."
