Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, personally conducted a special safety inspection on the evening of the 22nd ahead of Christmas, anticipating large crowds in Hongdae despite the cold wave.
The inspection involved Mayor Park Gang-su, Mapo District officials, and private organizations, who thoroughly checked every corner of Hongdae Red Road. In addition, Lee Han-kyung, Director of the Disaster Safety Management Headquarters at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, joined to monitor the crowd density situation.
This special inspection conducted by Mapo District began on the 20th and will continue until the 31st, the end of 2023, to manage the crowds.
