Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, received the grand prize in the ‘2023 Gyeongsangbuk-do Vegetable and Special Crop Policy Evaluation’ conducted by Gyeongbuk Province on the 21st.

Goryeong-gun was recognized for its efforts in securing and executing budgets for projects such as facility modernization and horticultural income crop development based on various greenhouse crops and open-field vegetables, leading youth farmer development and smart agriculture innovation through the tomato advanced smart farm foundation project, and actively participating in government supply and demand policies for open-field vegetables like garlic and onions, earning the grand prize.
Additionally, Goryeong-gun achieved excellent results across agricultural administration, including receiving an excellence award in the ‘2023 Gyeongsangbuk-do Food Policy Evaluation’.
