Victor Vasarely is a representative Hungarian artist who founded Op Art, a genre of 20th-century abstract art, and influenced the kinetic art genre.
This exhibition is a special retrospective commemorating the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Hungary. Over 200 major paintings, sculptures, prints, and photographs by Victor Vasarely, held by the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest and the Vasarely Museum, will be exhibited.
Samwha Paint created the exhibition space using the high-quality water-based paint "I-Lux Multiplat" to highlight the color emphasis of abstract art. This product features rich colors and excellent quality. "I-Lux Multiplat" is a paint applied on indoor walls and wallpaper. It is an eco-friendly paint with almost no odor and easy for beginners to use.
Usually, high-quality paints with excellent color expression are used for exhibitions at the Seoul Arts Center. Samwha Paint's "I-Lux" series was applied not only in the Raoul Dufy retrospective at the Seoul Arts Center last September but also in this exhibition, proving its competitive quality.
