Jeju Airport Grounded by Blizzard... 143 Flights Massively Canceled
Due to a snowstorm, numerous flight cancellations and delays are occurring at Jeju International Airport.
According to Korea Airports Corporation Jeju Airport on the 21st, as of 8 p.m., 143 flights including 65 departures and 78 arrivals were canceled, and one flight returned to the airport. Additionally, 156 flights for both departures and arrivals were delayed.
The aviation industry estimates that about 7,500 passengers with reservations departing from Jeju are stranded.
Most passengers on canceled flights were informed in advance and changed their flight dates and arranged accommodations. It is reported that there are almost no waiting passengers staying at the airport.

Currently, strong wind, heavy snow, and sudden wind change warnings are in effect at Jeju Airport. The Korea Meteorological Administration expects heavy snowfall across Jeju until the 22nd. It also forecasts rain or snow in some areas until the morning of the 23rd.
