Democratic Party Emergency Committee Launched... 47% Support vs 42% Opposition

The Democratic Party of Korea was evenly split on the public opinion regarding whether the party leader should step down and an emergency response committee should be formed, similar to the People Power Party.

According to the National Barometer Survey (NBS) jointly conducted by K-Stat, Embrain, Korea Research, and Hankook Research from the 18th to the 20th, surveying 1,002 adults nationwide, 47% agreed (strongly + somewhat) with the "launch of the Democratic Party of Korea's Integrated Emergency Response Committee," while 42% disagreed (not at all + not really).

Among the Democratic Party of Korea supporters (288 respondents), only 30% responded that they agreed.

Regarding the evaluation of President Yoon Seok-yeol's administration, 33% gave a positive assessment, while 59% gave a negative assessment. Party support was 30% for the People Power Party, 29% for the Democratic Party of Korea, 5% for the Justice Party, and 33% undecided. Regarding perceptions of the 22nd general election, 43% supported the government and ruling party, while 45% favored checking the government and ruling party.
