Air Premia Carries 130,000 Passengers in First Year of Narita Service
91.9% Occupancy Rate
On the 21st, Air Premia announced that it transported approximately 135,000 passengers over one year since launching the Incheon-Tokyo (Narita) route, achieving an average load factor of 91.9%.
This route is a representative competitive route operated by all domestic airlines using Incheon Airport. The company showed a high load factor of over 90% on this route, where LCCs (low-cost carriers) are dominant. Air Premia analyzed that the strategy of providing comfort and essential services matching the price was the reason for the high load factor.
Among Air Premia Narita route customers by age, those in their 20s and 30s accounted for more than 70%. In-flight duty-free items were most popular in the order of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and cosmetics. Additional products sold onboard included alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine, as well as ramen and snacks.
