Busan City will hold a concert on December 23 at 2 p.m. at Deullak Deullak on the first floor of City Hall to celebrate Christmas.
This concert is designed for the whole family, including young children and parents, to enjoy a joyful Christmas together at Busan City Hall's Deullak Deullak.
Santa Claus will host the concert, which features ▲ a 'Marionette Performance' with wooden puppets controlled by strings ▲ a tango music and carol medley performed by the three-member classical tango ensemble 'ChinChin Tango' ▲ and a stage by the four-member mixed-gender musical vocal team 'Serenade.'
The marionette performance is a string puppet show presented by a wooden puppet performer and a narrator, offering children a new experience and fun.
The tango ensemble, composed of bandoneon, piano, and violin, will perform tango music and Christmas carol medleys, while the vocal team made up of musical singers will perform songs popular with children such as the Frozen OST, carols, and Octopus's Dream.
After the performance, there will be a time to take photos sitting with Santa Claus at the ‘Santa Wish Chair,’ allowing children visiting Deullak Deullak this Christmas to create precious memories.
Any interested families or citizens can participate in the concert for free. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the event, with no prior registration required.
Additionally, on the following day, December 24, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a Christmas decoration-making experience event for children.
From noon to 2:20 p.m., a ‘Christmas Keyring’ making program will be held for children aged 4 to 7, and from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., a ‘Christmas Wreath’ making program will be available for elementary school students.
Materials will be provided free of charge, and children aged 4 and 5 must be accompanied by a guardian to participate. Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis at the entrance desk starting at 10 a.m. on the day of the event.
