Police Investigating Accident Circumstances
At around 5:13 PM on the 19th, an accident occurred near Seowonju on the Gwangju-Wonju Expressway in Wolsong-ri, Jijeong-myeon, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, where a rooftop tent flew onto a highway bus, causing the bus to crash into the guardrail.
As a result of the accident, the driver, Mr. A (60), and a passenger seated behind the driver, Mr. B (72), were seriously injured.
Among the remaining 11 passengers, 9 sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
