Gwangju University Discusses Expansion of Exchange Plans with Hansan Normal University, China
On the afternoon of the 15th, Gwangju University held a meeting in the conference room on the 6th floor of the administration building to discuss issues related to the joint operation program with Hansan Normal University in Gangdong Province, China, as well as additional mutual cooperation measures such as exchange students.
Kim Gap-yong, Vice President of Gwangju University, said in his welcoming speech, "We look forward to expanding additional cooperation such as establishing joint operation programs with other departments besides the joint operation program with the Department of Child Studies at Hansan Normal University and exchange student exchanges," adding, "We hope that both universities can achieve mutual development through frequent exchanges and a progressive educational partnership."
In response, Lim Gwang-mun, Deputy Secretary of Hansan Normal University, said, "We hope for cooperation in various fields such as global talent development and joint academic research," and added, "Although an agreement has been made, programs like the 3+1 operation program, which have not been practically operated due to COVID-19, are hoped to be revitalized soon."

The visiting delegation from Hansan Normal University then appreciated the graduation exhibition of the Department of Fashion and Jewelry Design at the Hosim Art Museum in the theater building and toured major facilities of Gwangju University, including the Hosim Hall Lighty Lounge, Hosim Memorial Library, and the Hosim Kim In-gon Doctor Memorial Hall.
