Gwangju Dong-gu Gyerim 1-dong, Customized Welfare Winter Support
The Community Security Council of Gyerim 1-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 18th that it delivered winter supplies such as electric mats and winter blankets in preparation for the cold wave as part of customized welfare tailored to the needs of neighbors in care.
At this delivery ceremony, based on the 'Basic Welfare Guidelines' prepared by Dong-gu, 10 electric mats and 20 winter blankets were provided to 30 households in need of care identified through a prior demand survey within Gyerim 1-dong.
Chairperson Kim Young-sun said, "This winter, with temperatures below freezing even during the day, is a harsh season that is difficult for neighbors in care to endure," adding, "I hope this support helps them have a warmer winter, even if just a little."
