Sunchang Seongga Jeongsik Food Selected as a Promising Small and Medium Enterprise in Jeonbuk Province

On the 19th, Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do announced that Sunchang Seongga Home Food Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jong-deok) was selected as a promising small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Jeollabuk-do this year.

The selection was made through document evaluation, on-site evaluation, and in-depth evaluation, followed by the final screening by the Jeollabuk-do SME Support Agency Council.

The promising SMEs selected by Jeollabuk-do will be certified for five years from the 14th of this month until December 23, 2028. The provincial management stabilization fund will be increased up to 500 million KRW (300 million KRW for general companies), and interest subsidies will be supported up to 3% (2% for general companies).

Additionally, benefits such as discounts on guarantee insurance premiums and extra points in various support projects, including selection as growth and leap companies, will be given, allowing priority support.

Kim Jong-hoon, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs, stated, “We will spare no effort in supporting companies.”

Meanwhile, Sunchang Seongga Home Food received the Governor’s Award of Jeollabuk-do at IFFE2023 Jeonju International Fermentation Food Expo and won the Synergy category of the GWP AWARD for outstanding partners.
