The ‘ISO 19443’ certification evaluates and certifies based on stricter standards than existing international standards, focusing primarily on establishing a nuclear safety culture and preemptive risk assessment to ensure the safety of nuclear power plant equipment.
Hyosung Goodsprings received excellent evaluations in areas such as ▲ leadership in building a nuclear safety culture ▲ management systems for ITNS (Important to Nuclear Safety) products, components, and related operations that significantly impact nuclear safety.
This certification is significant as it enables Hyosung Goodsprings to secure a competitive position in the global new nuclear power market, where obtaining ‘ISO 19443’ certification is mandatory.
Nuclear power plant operators in Europe and the Middle East, including the UK, France, Poland, and Saudi Arabia, require ‘ISO 19443’ certification when supplying nuclear power plant equipment. Kim Taehyung, CEO of Hyosung Goodsprings, stated, "Obtaining the ISO 19443 certification has become an opportunity to establish solid brand power in the global market by recognizing our technological capabilities and safety as a manufacturer of nuclear pumps," adding, "Based on this, we will actively pursue the global nuclear power market."
